Had you considered calling the company and discussing this with the  
engineers there?   They may have a better option.

The device comes out of Indianapolis, IN or it did once.  I  remember its 
1st customer, a very young woman, who was a complete Quad  C-4.  She could 
only move her head, so the Magictek was best for her to  operate her chair 
that carried a vent.  I believe the device was  designed only for the top of 
one's head......
