no, you have to rinse each bag. i've been doing it for 24 yrs. we use distilled water and distilled vinegar. when one is not in use, always wrap the end. we open the individual alcohol swabs, insert the end & twist it so nothing can contaminate while not in use. i use a new leg bag once a week. i hope i didn't make this sound confusing. if you're interested, i can make it more clear in a e-mail.
I used to use a leg bag during the day, but had to have a Foley catheter put in about 2 years ago.
