Swing-aways differ among manufacturers. Sometimes, I've taken them apart
and power washed them with the joystick off. The screw fasteners have tiny
barrel sleeve that must be cleaned before being re-assembled. Hope that
helps.

I put silicone spray my joystick where it swings away, it worked out very
well but for only 5-6 months.
Now I have to push it away with ALL my strength.
What else could I use in that area to make it easier to move? Bobbie

any lube should be light and fine grade oil. Oil/lube will attract dust,
dirt and debris.
Look at the wheels and castors for strings and hair washers. Sometimes
the wheels have to be removed to separate the debris.

Hi Shelly. My Permobil has two small shocks that get noisy occasionally. A
shot of WD-40 right to the shock quietens them down for a little bit, but
be stingy with it or it will drip on your floor. Greg

Hello to all,
My chair is making annoying "creeks" and it's from the back. It's 3 years
old and the tires have been replaced.
May it be my suspension??? It's working on my partners nerves,
Is there something I could do before I call my medical supply store?

Thank you

Shelly
