It's a hard book to get, Amazon and Ebay seem to be the only place. It doesn't show up in Washoe County library, so sad. How did you come upon it? The least expensive I can get it for is $7.49. Any ideas where to get it somewhat cheaper, it's only 222 pages, so it's not a big book. Thanks, Joan

I am reading one of the more powerful books I have ever read about disability. It is called Cripple Liberation Front Marching Band Blues by Lorenzo Wilson Milam. It is about a nursing home ward in 1952 full of disabled people. It is about as raw and powerful as can be. I have read only 50 pages so far, but I am hooked. The writing is superb, almost poetic in style. By all means, try it. Sent from my iPad
