Some may call them motors, but they are actually actuators using a screw drive. Its all enclosed. I'd still call Permobil and reference your concerns as it is a most important component in your life-style. Best Wishes In a message dated 3/22/2015 9:08:07 P.M. It was supposed to be repaired, service, but I think it sounds as if to me that it was replaced. Make sure you have your serial number available when you talk with Tech Services. 28 seconds sounds slow to me. Tilt actuators operate off of 24 volts and to the best of my knowledge are not adjustable in time cycle. Your actuator could be binding. The push arms on actuators are not lubed as lube attracts dirt and moisture. Was yours replaced or repaired? Best Wishes In a message dated 3/22/2015 8:02:44 P.M. I recently had my tilt mechanism service and it sounds completely different hand is running so slow that I'm having difficulty with it. It takes me 28 seconds to go from the lowest position to the for this position back. Would love to hear what your experiences are. Quadius
