Wow, Cindy, I have never bothered with the lift but I have never had a top-of-the-line van. Well, once back in 1992, but that's another story. I have heard others say it should be insured as a conversion van. Get an evaluation of the conversion/lift value and go from there. You might have to insure them separately. Only problem -- it could get expensive in a hurry. Note, my conversion (1992)was paid for by vocational Rehab, so my insurance only paid what I owed on the van itself. It was totaled. You need a pro to advise you on this. Good luck and God bless.
