I got it done about eight years ago. I have ulcerative colitis and had gotten a bad C. diff infection. Have always used an abdominal binder, and afterword had to find one with a sort of cutout ring in it to work a colostomy bag through. It was a major hassle but all is well now. Happy to answer questions.
