You can't buy or build one. When prescribed by a wound specialist, you can lease one. It has to be maintained by an RN, certified in that equipment's use. A camera phone can be used daily to record the progress of the wound and forward to your wound doctor. When the wound is healed or flapped, the equipment is returned to the company.
