I was on lyrica for nerve pain right after my injury occurred. It worked well for me, but I wanted to stop as many medications as possible. I remember lyrica being one of the hardest meds to stop. It took a couple of tries. I reduced the dose slowly. A few times I needed to increase the dose because the pain would return. So I stayed at the higher dose for about a month, then reduced the dose again. It took time, but eventually I stopped taking it and I haven't needed it since then.
