it does look like a very promising piece of hardware. Unfortunately it
does not have an IR repeater, which is what you typically need to control
TV/cable/electronics. There are multiple iOS and android apps that can
control Wi-Fi connected devices, but I haven't seen a voice controlled
killer app out there. The home control ecosystem that Apple is rolling out
makes Siri controlled devices practical, but it's early days for that
system and I haven't seen anything I can recommend yet. I've only been
waiting 30 years!
