Next mobility is in the Midwest. They are the only ones that carry omega
trac parts. We only have one DME that handles power chairs that will
accommodate me, and that one has been reported way too many times for
ripping off customers. The nearest after that is in Sacramento, California
120 miles away. So we take care of our own chairs. Not what I want, but it
is what it is.

Is "Next Mobility" the only provider in your area?

I am now officially the proud owner of not one but three Omega trac
wheelchairs! We found two on Craigslist in Oregon, one only has 5 hours on
the machine and the other has about 100. Since my counter no longer works on
my chair I would not hazard a guess on how many hours I have put on over 10
years! I should not run out of parts for a long time. Definitely doing the
happy dance here in Reno. We pick them up on Monday and the total price will
be less than $1500 for both of them including travel to get them. Hip hip
hooray for the Internet. Next mobility will not even return phone calls so
there is no getting parts from that source without a battle. This should
last me the rest of my life.
