Just wanted to share that I recently was introduced to a closed group of Facebook called "Spinal Cord Peer Support USA". Wonderfully engaging, supportive, educational etc. If you use Facebook you may want to check it out. Jay and an advisory group moderate the group so if you want to join he will ask you about yourself first.my understanding is people don't really get "not accepted" it is more knowing who is coming in..and there are some great "guidelines" for the group as well.
