Voc Rehab, may pay or contribute.... only if you are still a client of VR.
If so, they may require a new evaluation as your physical limits both
high and low have changed over the years. Good Luck

Larry, that is amazing. I had mine custom done, same as yours, in 1996. It
was new and Voc. rehab in RI paid for conversion. I am thinking I should
try for a new van and see if voc rehab will help me again. I still work so
they should? but, I don't want another full size van, I don't think .maybe a
smaller van that can handles a lift. Do you know of any? I don't like
going up so high and I don't like driving a full size anymore. I have a head
support that holds my neck but it is not so great anymore and I feel tippy
driving when the road banks etc. It is getting harder to drive for many
reasons. Me getting older and the van. I would like to get a mini and get
power
brakes, steering if I could but would need a power chair to get in and out.
I use a power assist chair now, Love it but I would tip back if I thrust
up a mini van lift. It's hard, and money, of course is always an issue.. Let
me know if you have any thoughts. thanks, Shirley
Kind regards,

I have tried to take good care of mine. It is red and gray with lightly
tinted windows. It has the total package...lowered floor, easy brakes and
steering, tie-down, hand controls, tail light switches, etc. I bought it in
Sept2002. It had about 120,000 miles on it and was in just excellent
condition. Now here is where the Lord steps in. It is the only van I have seen
before or since that was equipped EXACTLY the way I need it. Got in on EBay
for
$13,500...from a young fellow in Colorado. It was a miracle. It would cost
fifty thousand today easily. The good Lord and a good young fellow in
Colorado have blessed me beyond words.
