I have Comcast cable, and you can change the channel using the Xfinity website.
I use Dragon NaturallySpeaking to control my PC. And so I can change the
channels on my seven-year-old television set using a combination of Dragon
NaturallySpeaking, my computer, and the website. Unfortunately, I'm not able to
turn the TV on or off or change volume or switch the input from the cable box
to my Roku box. maybe the newer televisions have more options for wireless
control. Good luck.

Subject: [QUAD-L] Voice-activated TV remote?

Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a voice-activated television
remote control? We caregivers spend way too much time changing channels for
quadriplegics and I’m sure it’s frustrating for them as well…………….surely in the
21st century there has to be something!
