sounds to me like she'll need to be tested for C-diff after antibotics, caused by them. she also needs to eat yogurt. i'm on my 2nd IV and this time they gave me a prescription to counter act C-diff. still have the bone infection, bobbie. didn't get hyperbaric started, insurance papers for approval went to the wrong hospital. and that's about a 45 day correction. my sore is still 4 cm both ways but filling/closing in on the inside. dianna
My neighbor Dawn (a Quad 25 years post) who lives in my building has Mesa, more toes are infected and might need to be amputated. The wound center put her on 2 super antibiotics which is reiki havoc with her intestines and she is getting diarrhea multiple times after transferring into bed ALONE. She told me she had to clean herself up each time all by herself.
