I'm sorry I told you about the imipramine.  I had to stop taking it because it can cause a paralytic illeus.  That's why I had to stop taking it.  I just thought if you had nothing left to try, you might want to risk it.  After all you could take it and be fine.

On the cold front, after I had to stop taking the imipramine the cold sensations came back with a vengeance.  Does this sound familiar?  You feel an overall almost internal intense cold and if that's not bad enough, your arms feel like their soaking in ice water.  I don't know about you but all those bad thoughts were never far from my mind.  Anyway, as someone already said, it has to be neuropathic in nature.  The news is not good unfortunately.  It looks like people are throwing any number of medications alone or in combination with numerous other medications hoping something will bring them some relief.  I think seeing a pain specialist should be step one.  Unfortunately about all they have to offer is medications but who knows, maybe something will work.  I've heard of people with regular pain having some sort of stimulator implanted.  I wonder if that works on neuropathic pain.  Nerve blocks?  Acupuncture?  Hypnosis?  I've heard some are having success with cannibis.  Point is, suffering isn't an option.

I just can't imagine still living in Seattle, I'm in the Phoenix area now. The highs this next week are 54-66, the lows are 29-38. Yesterday I wore heavy sweats, a shirt, heavy  hoodie, and wrapped in a blanket, fleece hat, and drank hot drinks all day, heat set at 80. And still froze all day. Must be low pressure or something aches my bones. Just shaking cold. I can't imagine you east coast guys. At least here it's only a few months a year. It's not too bad during the day if it's at least sunny out. I hate getting washed up when it's so cold out, no mater what the heats on. I don't know how you guys leave the house.
