I've been irrigating my bladder with vetericyn for about 4 years now without a uti.  Here's a ridiculously long post on it on the carecure forums.

That was so well said Larry. Thank you I told agree with everything you say. Being ona ventilator is so difficult. I was on one for a few days after my colon cancer surgery in November 2015.

Has anyone else experienced colon cancer and on chemotherapy. I have been on an oral medication but I've been in the hospital three times in the last month and a half with bleeding from UTIs.

To all of you guys on a vent -- God bless you. Your strength of spirit blows me away and humbles me beyond words. I don't think I could do it. Love and blessings to all of you. You are amazing.

Sorry and congratulations.  Seriously, I'm a C3 on a vent myself and many in our situation would have already succumbed to various maladies by now
