Happy Easter and this Holy Day is why I went ahead and paid out of
pocket……..not missing it because of my batteries.

I believe my dead ones are MK and the new ones have 1 yr warranty but not sure
what brand they are.

I go very little but have charged my last ones every night. My caregiver did
mention my charger was pretty warm a few weeks ago so she untangled the cords
and was fine after that (or so we thought), then the pungent odor visited last
week…….I have one smart plumber J

My brother is going to clean all connections, etc. tonight when he replaces the
batteries……

New batteries are only warranted for 6 months from most battery manufacturers.
I believe that MK Batteries will offer you one year. Battery manufacturers
are as different as beer makers. What brand of batteries are you using in your
chair? Batteries should be charged every night overnight after you are done
with your chair for the evening.

Check your charger to be sure that it is not over heating during the battery
charging process.

You could also have a friend check the connections on those batteries to be
sure they are all "nice n tight" Loose connections affect the charging of your
batteries and make your charger work harder.

Happy Easter.... its a major Holiday.

Best Wishes

Last week on Monday and Tuesday morning my house smelled like sewer
gas/sulpher/rotten eggs. Called a plumber and he couldn’t find anything but
while chatting and looking around he asked what kind of batteries I had in my
chair.

I decided not to charge my chair Tuesday night and Wednesday morning there was
no smell. Called wheelchair company and told them my scenario and they
suggested using spray air to clean out the charger. We did that, nothing really
came out and plugged charger in Wednesday night. No smell until this morning.
Anyone else have similar issue and was it your batteries, the charger or both?

I was outside yesterday and my chair has shown full battery bars every day,
however, my chair wouldn’t move and looked at joystick screen and it says low
battery. Chair did not charge last night and obviously hasn’t charged for at
least a week.

Wheelchair vendor can’t come out until Monday to assess the chair, then order
batteries etc, will have to schedule another day to install once they come
in……………they don’t do emergency calls.

Spent $340.76 out of pocket for new batteries………..should I be looking for a new
wheelchair dme company or is this just the way it is? I just can’t believe they
couldn’t loan me batteries to get me through the weekend, nor would they sell
me any.
