Para's are much more easier to compare, physical strength. Quads are so
much different, like snowflakes. One issue with C-Quads is muscle fatigue.
Physical Therapist, that work with C-Quads know that if they allow a
client to over exercise a muscle, permanent damage could occur. Therapist
know
how much strength they can get from a client. Generally, its not to
improve, but to preserve.
I hope this helps....
Best Wishes

My husband is an incomplete C3 quad able to move every muscle except still
weak after almost 1.5 years of therapy (started out at 6 hours per week
and now up to 10 hours per week). People tell me ten hours of therapy per
week is not enough, especially when they only work on one muscle group 15
minutes say 2 to 3 times a week. Are there any “incomplete” quads out there
with this type of experience and trying out therapy only to find they cannot
get stronger? HELP!
