Everyone, has a Boss. The insurance industry is no different. Turn your problem, into a project and ask to speak with a responsible supervisor. If they are not available, ask to speak to their supervisor and so on. You can also consult with your state's insurance dept or file a compliant with the state dept. The responsible squeeeeeeky wheel gets the most attention. Best Wishes In a message dated 4/23/2016 3:19:25 P.M. Central Daylight Time, [email protected] writes:
My insurance makes me use Preferred Medical. I use used to like Preferred, but now hate them. My doc sent a prescription 2 months ago to get a motor fix on my hospital bed, the head up motor broke. I've called a few times a week and get nothing but excuses. They have not even done the paper work to get a cost or the ok from the Insurance Co. yet. And I sent a chair repair fax in 3 times 2 weeks ago before they said they got it. Then they lost it and need to rerun it through the system before I can even go in to get looked at just to find the issue. Then they have to get a cost, ok from insurance, order parts, then schedule the repair. Luckily the chair is running and I have a backup. Greg
