I was going to go to craig hospital in Colorodo for my syrinx surgery. I had an
appointment with dr. Scott Falci and everything seemed wonderful . Somehow they
decided they wouldn't take my United Healthcare insurance and they wanted
50,000 dollars to start out of my pocket, lol. I was so upset because my family
thought that any old surgeon could work on a syrinx and that's far from the
case. So I had to start pain meds and that has turned me into a less capable
man. I often wonder what wouldof happened if I could of gotten my surgery. It
was thought I would spend at least 17 days in the hospital.

I do not watch that show but I saw a little bit about it somewhere and, like
Bobbie, I would never ever have that type of surgery done. After almost dying
from the shunt placed in the occipital lobe of my brain for syringomyelia back
in 1994... I won't even have another neurosurgeon touch my spinal cord unless I
was on my deathbed.
