Don't laugh but I remember my husband (computer software/hardware engineer
and guru) calling AOL - Assholes On Line. Not for the people who used it
really but it is always thought it was a terrible, horrible portal to
access the net. Since my husband worked for the government and began using
the Internet decades ago so he was one of those "experienced Internet
users" who usually know the best way to connect to the Internet, etc. etc.
etc.

It can be extremely slow and is easily open to spyware and computer viruses
and may cause your computer to crash. It loves to wield its comments
so-called black "fist of fury" known as TOS (Terms of Service) around in
order to intimidate and threaten millions of users and then have the nerve
to charge excessively monthly charges for what you get. Costing well over
$20 when it is worth no more than a few bucks because of all the problems
people get with it.

Bottom line... you get what you pay for. Good luck with whatever you decide
to change with or stay with. Seriously.

Best, ~Lori
