I amforwarding this to you to see if any of you had any similar difficulties and could advise me about what procedure to do to obtain my records. I'm aware that legally I have a right to them, but that means nothing if I cannot obtain them.. I feel totally impotent and like they are walking all over me and I have no recourse.

It is imperative that I have my records sent to me via emails for all the years I was there because I want a record of when they gave me crushed oxycodone and overdosed me and told my family I was going to expire. Obviously it will be necessary for me to retain an attorney to get them to relinquish my records on computer. They offered me hard copies at a charge of one dollar per page which would be financially prohibitive and would be of no benefit to a quadriplegic since I can only read things on a computer screen and cannot physically turn pages. Also I'm sure that the pavilion nursing home and Jupiter Hospital do not want to advertise the bedsore I had that was all the way to my spine and they told me it would never heal and it would kill me unless I had a skin graft. They are walking all over me and I need to fight back! I want to file a lawsuit against Jupiter Hospital and the pavilion nursing facility for negligence. I have more than adequate evidence from my emails and Facebook messages to document what is happening here. I am leaving here on Auguust 1 for a new facility and it is imperative that I be able to obtain my records before I leave here. They are all computerized so all they have to do is email them to me. I have asked for years of the director of nursing to please email me my medical records and she has never done it. I know it is written in the records about about me being administered crushed oxycodone and the medication putting me into a coma for days (because it is a timed released medication) and telling my family that death was imminent. I know this because Matthew's mother used to work here in the capacity of a registered nurse, and she came here wanting to know why I was supposed to expire so she just walked up andd looked in my records and found the information and came and told me; OTHERWISE i WOULD NEVER HAVE KNOWN WHAT HAPPENED! I would never have been aware that I was out for a few days except one of the nurses came and told me about my children sitting out in the hallway for days and crying waiting for me to die. When I awakened after those few days I thought I had just awoken from being asleep a normal amount of time. One time I asked the director of nursing to please tell me the particulars about when I was in a coma for a few days AND MY FAMILY WAS TOLD I was about to die. She looked me dead in the eye and said, "that never happened". So I confirmed it with my family and yes it definitely occurred. Obviously there is a cover-up going on. Anyway I have a witness who saw the records in Margaux's mother-in-law, Donna, and she is an impeccably reliable witness. Because of the staff shortages in Florida nursing homes, a quadriplegic cannot obtain the time necessary for their care. Or at least I am unable to anyway, as is physically evidenced by the three bandages coverinng the pressure sore spots on my derrière.. I have written orders to the nurses and I am to be repositioned once every two hours but obviously that does not reliably occur or else I would not have pressure spots developing on my derrière. This is the first time since I have been confined inside a nursing home that I had three different bandages on pressure areas on my derrière. Formerly there was always only one pressure area at a time which is evidence thatI am deteriorating and need more care than I am able to obtain. The director of nursing told me years ago after my arms became paralyzed that I required private duty nursing care 24 -7. The only way that I have available to me to finance paying for private duty nursing care for the duration of my life, would be if I won a large judge judgment from a lawsuit against Jupiter Hospital and I definitely WANT TO DO THAT. I have had other people inquire as to why I do not have my children each pay a certain portion of private duty care nurses salary, but I would rather die before I did that to my children. None of them are independently wealthy, and I would be a financial imposition upon my children. I got $20,000 from when Tom took out a reverse mortgage on our home AND I put it in the care of Margaux in Georgia to dispense as I wanted her to. I have tried to get her to retain an attorney for me but she is unwilling to do so. She does not want me to spend the small amount of money I have. You are my only recourse to try to get an attorney retained on my behalf. Please advise. I love you and beautiful Jennifer and Andrew and Annabelle and Aron. It is very obvious that I will never see my records from this facility unless I take legal action to acquire them. I am afraid that after August 1 MY RECORDS WILL BE DESTROYED. I am praying diligently THAT YOU WILL take action quickly to get me an attorney to request my records asap. Without them I have no evidence against this facility and they certainly are aware of that or they would not be so unwilling to allow me to have my own records.
