Batteries are 10 yrs old. They were the sealed lead acid. im assuming they
dropped below the chargers ability to charge them, need to be taken out, but
now I just need the thing to freewheel. It has he brushless system which was a
new idea in 2001. its the chair Darryl Gwynn gave me, very little
use.......runs great if it has proper batteries . Only a few were made in this
paint design. I would sell it to someone if they are interested.

A trans-motor, consist of 3 separate components.  The Motor, the Gearbox and
the Magnetic Break. You might be moving the Free Gear Lever, but if the pin
that is connected to it, is not properly secured it will just rotate and not
move.  How old are your batteries?Best Wishes In a message dated 9/28/2016

I have a 2001 Quickie P-222 Power Chair that the batteries are dead beyond
the ability to charge. I pulled the motor disengage level on each of the two
motors and it still wont move. Is there something that disengages the brakes or
something Im missing to get the chair to roll? Thanks my dads mad and I need an
answer. Thank you in advance.
