I don't want to jinx myself, but I guess I am luckier than most. I have pain in my bladder and shoulder. The shoulder pain is a muscular pain which can radiate into my neck. If it gets bad enough I have to take Tylenol three, but I try not to. Knock on wood, I try to take as few of these as possible. Usually below eight or nine or year.
There are times when I have to take something for the bladder pain, but right now I don't have anything prescribed. You can buy it over-the-counter, but I'm trying not to take too much of that because it can be really hard on the liver. I usually only take medication for bladder pain when it is elevated blood pressure.
