I find it interesting what makes people ask if you need help. I've been out a lot lately taking photographs.  I often stop at this 1 corner on just an average city street. It has lots of plants butterflies love. So I just sit there looking into a camera with 1 hand resting on it to move it around. I bet at least every 10 minutes a car will stop and ask if I need help. Yet today I was at a golf course and pulled into the gravel edge to get a photo of a red bird I'd never seen here. I did something you never do in gravel, tried to back up and turn. Just dug in and was StuckĀ… I was facing the wrong way to see most cars, but could see them just as they passed me. I started waving both arms as well as I could, most just drove by, a few waved back. Lots of cars, but walking people were to far away to hear me. Probably 15 minutes, but finely a worker pulled up. We had talked earlier about my camera, he suggested where he often sees birds. Luckily he pulled over to ask if I found anything. I was too stuck for just him to get me out, but the next car also stopped to help.
