I got noticed via e-mail that the ABLE ACCOUNTS are now nationwide. My sister had to do some legwork for me to ask some initial questions which she did yesterday.
They are located in Virginia and therefore Virginia has definitely started. Before I got the e-mail that the ABLE accounts are now available in each state I still think states may be slower or have individual things. In any case, I filled out the initial questions the day before yesterday (asked by itself) and it says that I am eligible for an ABLE account but I need to find out more about them before I actually go ahead and click that button to "open account."
