Carolyn, No offense taken. Just relaying my personal experience. I first tried one exactly like that one you found mainly because it was cheaper. It snapped off at the base where the clip holds it to the table after repeated movement. The more expensive one has a solid plastic mounting that rises about 3 inches above the clip before the flexible part. So far it has held up much better. For me, this turned out to be a case of "you get what you pay for".
