Size Matters. Much depends on the size of your bladder. Bladders then to shrink with age and using a indwelling cath system. The size of the cath balloon and how it sits/rest in your bladder. Material of the cath may also affect spasms. Complicated, eh? Best Wishes In a message dated 5/20/2017 2:34:48 P.M. Central Daylight Time, [email protected] writes:
Hi all, I have an indwelling catheter 38 years now, and am having fits of bladder spasms on and off after a change of catheter. Sometimes no problems. Probably 7 out of 8 changes go south. I changed this twice and I am still wetting with spasms? Do you have the same problems with super pubic? I just started cipro, had some still good. It’s the weekend and need to wait till Monday to call my Dr. unless it gets really bad. any thoughts? thanks
