Hi Jeffrey I have had the Ecole for quite awhile so I am not interested in Google Home. I do know that Google Home can control TV with Harmony Hub. I already have Insteon so I did not want another hub. Hope that helps. The echo can also make phone calls but it is experiencing some glitches right now. I am sure it will get straightened out soon. Then I found out you can just have echo open anymote and then tell it what to do in sequence. Drawback is, you must have prime from Amazon. Setup cost was about $140 with the Amazon dot.
