We have this same one and all you can do is put the pressure up and down; my husband keeps it at around 11 oclock. He has never had a pressure sore on this mattress, but it does not rotate you. It does "alternate" the pressure when you have it on that mode like every half hour or so. You will hear the air flowing around, but it's hard to feel. Sorry it is not comfortable for you.
