I called Steve from the Q-list, he lives south south east Georgia, and there was a message "All calls are being forwarded to a messaging system." I left a message and am hoping to hear from him.
My very good friend John a C4,5 quad since 1976 moved down to Miami maybe 10 years ago into his own house alone. I spoke to him the night before the storm hit and he was riding the storm out in a nursing home on a cardiac chair. He said it sounds like one train after another is going by outside. I talked to him today and he is home with no power. He has a generator for basic needs. He said "Things are really, really bad down here in Miami . No grocery stores, no gas. Ice is a premium."
