I've never tried cranberry supplements. I have been taking 1,000mgs of Vitamin C - three times/day (at my doctor's suggestion) for at least the past 17 years. Whatever your body doesn't need ends up in your bladder which creates an environment hostile to bacteria growing. Something like that. :-) Don't remember exactly but it works for me!
