I had an issue going on a month ago where the cathe tube wouldn't go in at all. Instead on scoping my penis and figuring out what was blocking it they put a bard foley bag on for a month. Well two Fridays ago a mild fever started 99.6 and the urologist is only there on thursdays. His office wouldn't give me an antibiotic or let me come in. Finally after calls back they let my mom drop a urine sample two Fridays ago. The urologist never called nor did the office and my fever stayed under 100. Finally last Wednesday my mom called the urologist and they refused to do anything because they were waiting on the lab results. My mom physically went up there and they said the lab had lost the urine sample but found it. After a lot of begging they gave me cipro for 7 days without a result from the lab. My fever went down to normal after I started taking the cipro but yesterday my fever came back and was 100.6. I believe that all the waiting has allowed the infection to start in the kidneys at this point. Ive only got 6 cipros left and all the offices are closed until Tuesday. the emergency room calls this urologist so not much point to go there. Im not sure how dangerous this situation is at 100.6 with being on cipro. I can get the fever down with ibupophen, naproxen and the works. Im drinking glass after glass on tea to try to help. I don't know if I should let this go until tues, call the urologist through the exchange or go to a walk in urgent care center. the urne has no blood, looks decent overall just a little brownish. crziest deal Ive been in for awhile. the urologist allowed this infection to get out of control pretty much, they wouldn't budge on the lab results that never came...........to this moment the lab never called me.
