Here are a couple of ideas:

 

You could try steel toed shoes.

 

you may also be able to bolt a larger steel plate or a piece of word to the
existing plate. On my wheelchair, those steel plates fold upwards, and so if
I tried to add something, I would probably cut and bolt some plywood to the
bottom of those steel plates.

 

Anyone else have any better ideas?

I use a regular old style wheelchair with each foot having an individual
plate underneath the foot.

 

I have broken toes and injuries from banging into everything with my feet
hanging off out in front.

.

I need a protector for my toes. 

 

If you could recommend something please tell me as I'm having no luck
finding something on the Internet.
