after 53 years post SCI, I now have problems driving. My posture is unbelievable, but my shoulder will not allow me to turn the steering wheel.
My van has low effort which helps, but it seems like my shoulder is locked up when it gets to a certain angle. I was looking on the Internet about some of the alternatives, joystick and the small second wheel options. Does anyone have experience either? Most importantly does anyone know of a sale handicapped van with special steering? I've checked out Craig's list and eBay, but to no avail. Thanks, Glenn
