Bypass it all, connect your TV to a PC or Mac :) Then you can simply use your Dragon or other computer adaptations to watch/play whatever you want. Everything you list, Glenn would be accessible. You can even get an app like SplashTop on your phone, connect to the PC and your phone will operate like a mouse.
