Not to be negative re: what Aaron said but I had to stay in bed (and only
getting up every 2 weeks to go to a wound care Center to have to have
it/them and not to play around with to make it worse (and they were getting
worse because of neglect by a doctor and made worse by a home health agency
nurse) to get it or them to get wound debridement.

However, like so many other things, EVERYONE is different and all wounds
are different but they are definitely not something to be ignored. I have
known 2 Quad friends had a wounds start, having it not get better or
trusted to get better, and then died from them or even get started out as a
wound bringing a body down in a short period of time or a longer period of
time. Of course, as you know, they come in different stages and don't
chance it to get 'potentially' better. I didn't want to stay out of my
chair for hours every day so when it started and it was a minor wound.

 I didn't because I didn't want to (I know I'm being redundant) because I
had things to do. Well, after getting up for 5 hours every day... it did
get worse. A home health care nurse got it infected (unbeknownst to me and
my husband) because she was using the right paper (it had MRSA on it) and
in a very short period of time it started spreading so, with my husband's
knowledge, he said that the only thing that went cause it to spread would
be bacteria and we should get it cultured. So we did and, sure enough, it
had been infected and with MRSA.
