I’ve had a Supra pubic catheter since 2009. Paralyzed since 2008. The catheter itself was changed out this past Thursday. When the nurse took the catheter out blood was dripping from the hole. This has never happened before. I’ve had a little bit of blood for one to several days in my urine after a catheter change many times through the years. But never had anything like this happen. Today it is dripping from where the catheter goes in. My urine looks like dark raspberry tea. Has anyone ever experienced the dripping blood before?
