I think side effects for Moderna and Pfizer are fairly similar. I've never heard of anyone having side effects from the first shot. It seems like if you have a reaction, it's going to happen after the second shot. Here's what happened with my family. I had Moderna and didn't have any side effects. My wife and mother (82) had Moderna and the day after the second shot, they were both really fatigued. My wife slept most of the afternoon. My daughter's (15) experience was exactly the same as my wife and she had Pfizer. My dad (82) seems to have had it the worst. He had a fever (99.8) and felt flu-like for 4 or 5 days. When you get vaccinated, they give you a slip of paper listing the common side effects and what percentage of people had said side effects. I remember arm pain was 98%. I don't remember the percentages for other side effects but they were all flu-like symptoms. So things like fever, body aches, chills, etc. My brother had Johnson and Johnson but I don't talk to him all that much so I don't know if he had any side effects
