Thank you everyone. That was real helpful.

The inability to cough puts us quads at greater risk of any respiratory
virus, including covid. You'll want to consult your doctor, but I just rolled
into the nearest Walgreen's that had Moderna (my vaccine) and told them I
wanted a booster. I filled out a short questionnaire and then received the
shot. The whole process took about 20 minutes. I had no adverse effects from
the booster other than a sore arm at injection site.
There's been a lot of mixed messaging regarding the booster. Do your research
and then do what you're comfortable with. Your body, your health.
I wish you all happiness and health!
Don.
PS. I hope everyone knows how to do assisted coughing. If not, here's a video
explaining the technique. I highly recommend you and your caregivers watch
this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmzZkdACei4

Someone on the list said they just rolled into their local CVS and asked for
it.  Technically, they are not allowed to ask health questions.  You're
eligible 6 months after your second dose of the original vaccine.  Make sure
you get the same vaccine as before Moderna / Pfizer and make sure they know
it's the booster if you got Moderna.  The Moderna booster is a half shot
