I haven't seen a Mouse Systems optical mouse for years!
As I recall, they needed not only a driver, but a special
gridded reflective mouse pad...at least the one I had did.
The mice donot require any software drivers, but they do require a special
metal grated mousepad. I still use two Little Mice -- one on my PM6100 and one
with my SE/30.
