I've been doing tech support for awhile now, and I can probably tell you 
what she did. She pulled up the System Folder, and saw this weird thing 
called "Finder". She thought to herself "I never use this program, I'll 
just throw it away..." :)

Seriously, back in the DOS days you'd be surprised how many people deleted 
command.com because they thought they never used it.

Here's an idea... someone on another list had a problem with an invisible 
System Folder. Put ResEdit on a floppy, pull up the System Folder in the 
Get File/Folders info, and make it invisible. Make sure not to put ResEdit 
on the HD. I'd like to see her crash that! :)
