Dear Quadrphiles: I am looking for a replacement fan for an external hard drive case. The existing fan is making some vibrating noises indicative that the bearings are going. Also, I'd like to get a fan that will move more air, as this case has a Barracuda in it and runs on the hot side.
The existing fan is labeled as follows: Sunon KD 1206 PT53 DC 12V 1.2 W The fan's screw holes are exactly 5cm x 5cm on-center. Where can I get a replacment for this, and how can I know how much air it will move vs. the exisitng one? Thanks, Fr.
