Are *you* kidding *me*? I always have thought iCab was a dog. It has a lot of nice features, but on the 68k machine I have (50MHz Daystar PowerCache, 128MB RAM, IIci) it's almost too slow to use. I use multiple connections, with at least one reserved for the browser, and I disable cache. I am using a modem, but through a UNIX gateway with a few gigs of squid cache. No use in a local cache when squid is around. > Try Netscape Defrost, but I don't have much hope because Netscape 2 generally > sucks. It does suck... but it's fast. The worst exception is when it is waiting on the remote server. It tends to freeze up the Mac, even with the Defrost extension installed. -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- Quadlist is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
