I have become the proud "Father" of three Macs.

A Performa 577, a Centris 610, and an iMac 450. I am hoping there is a way
I can get all of the siblings talking to each other. I am very
inexperienced in networking them together and wonder if anyone has a site
that explains what to do in not to technical terms.

Both the 610 and iMac are up and running. The 577 is still ill, but I have
not tried the new keyboard info I was given yet to see if she will live.

Do I need to get a router? I do have adaptors for the 610 to the now
standard net wiring, though I'm not sure what it is called. The one that
looks like a strange phone jack. I don't see anything "net" related on the
577. Would I have to change out the motherboard to something else for her
to be net enabled. I do have a SCSI adapter to funky phone jack. Will this
work for the 577?

The iMac is connected to a DSL connection, is it possible for them all to
share this same connection if they are networked together. I'm sure some of
these are dumb questions if I had the slightest idea of what is going on
with my "kids". What can I say, they're teenagers - LOL.

Thanks for any help given!

John
