Well there's the rub,  I have both the shareware and commercial wads, 
neither seem to add the option of multiplayer to the options menu on any 
of my machines. the ipx control panels seem to function correctly so 
perhaps its the wad.

The games splash screen comes up with "ultimate doom" running the 
commercial wad which is missing when running the demo, still neither 
give the multiplayer option. Perhaps the wad I'm using doesn't support 
multiplayer, I do miss CLI with such things. With a program such as 
Doom, the games life can be extended and bug stomping is made so much 
easier. This is also made easier with the use of a launcher which I can 
find for most other platforms except the mac. :(

Seriously thinking of dropping the Q800 board in to gain that extra 8mhz 
speed, not sure what the drop it vram from 2 to 1 mb will do, atleast 
its faster vram.
