Hi, Hope someone can help me with this:
I have a quadra 800, with two disks, with OS8 on one, and OS7 on the other. This all worked fine and groovy - could swap boot disk via the startup control panel, etc. Then, I scrapped my OS 7 disk, and put AUX on it. However, I then couldn't boot off the OS 8 disk. So, I tried booting from the OS8 CD - the disk didn't automatically mount - but I could mount it with FWB mounter. Tried switching startup disk from OS8 - but still booted into AUX. ... and now the OS8 disk doesn't automatically mount in AUX either. Any idea what's going on? Is my disk in the process of dying, or have I changed something somehow. I have repartitioned the OS8 disk too, by the way, to add some extra space for AUX (I had some free space on it - the MacOS partiition only took up half of it).
