Hi. It's been a while, but I recall that there were these little "strings"
at the bottom of each track that represented the "strength" of the track
(video or sound, as against, say, the background color, or another track
below it, or silence, in the case of sound), & that you can grab on to
them at a point, & it will become like a vertex in a drawing program,
except that you can move it up & down vertically withen the space, to
determine how strong that track will be for a certain spave, in the final
mix. So that you could have a black background, say, & at first you have
the line all the way at the bottom, & then there is a vertex at the
bottom, & then the line goes up on a slope, so that you slowly fade in or
out the main track, over a slope, as thus defined, & reach a point where
the track is at full strength, as which point there is another vertex at
the top of the allowed area, & so it will be at the final mixdown. Hope
