Greetings,
I am new to the list, and among my collection of Macintosh hardware, I
have a Quadra 605. This machine performs a variety of functions, including
writing disks for my older Macs. However, it is currently experiencing a
problem. I need to use this machine with a PC monitor and I have an
adapter, but it no longer displays properly. I am unsure if the adapter's
DIPs are set wrong, or if the Quadra is flaking out on me. The video I get,
when I get any video, is shaky and the screen flickers on and off. I had
problems with it not booting before, but I tried swapping a PRAM battery
with a PowerMac and it seems to be booting now.. even if I can't get video,
I hear the HD. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Chris
